API: get started

Nerro API overview

Run calling campaigns from your own systems, read every call's outcome and keep your do-not-call list in sync.

The Nerro API lets your CRM, your own code, n8n, Make or Zapier work with your AI employees. Everything it does goes through the same rules as the app, so nothing sent through the API can skip consent, calling hours or your do-not-call list.

What you can do

  • Read your finished calls: outcome, summary, sentiment, length and the details your employee captured. See Calls.
  • Read your leads and messages, and send new leads to be called back within seconds. See Leads.
  • Create a calling campaign, add the people, launch it and follow its progress. See Campaigns.
  • Add a number to your do-not-call list. See Do-not-call.
  • Get every finished call pushed to your server as it happens. See Webhooks.

The basics

  • Base URL: https://www.nerro.co/api/v1
  • Authentication: your API key in an Authorization: Bearer header. See Authentication.
  • Requests and responses are JSON. Success is { "data": … }; a problem is { "error": { "message": … } } with a 4xx or 5xx status.
  • Up to 120 requests a minute per key.
  • Times are ISO 8601 in UTC, like 2026-11-02T15:04:05.000Z. Phone numbers come back in E.164, like +13125550101.

Rules the API can't get around

Calls go out only to people with consent on file, only inside each person's legal calling hours, never to numbers on your do-not-call list, at most 3 times in 24 hours, and with an AI disclosure and a way to opt out in the first sentence. A campaign launches only after its practice calls pass in Nerro. See Calling rules.
